The deadline for direct admission to courses such as BTech, MCA, and BPharm has been extended by the University of Lucknow. The deadline for direct admission to open seats in second-year BTech programmes (lateral entry) has also been extended. Students can now apply for admission until November 22nd.

“The date for submission of applications.. is hereby extended upto 22-11-2021 for direct admission in vacant seats in First year BTech / MCA/ BPharm and second year BTech (Lateral Entry) programs,” a statement on the Lucknow University website said.

Direct Admission to Vacant Seats Eligibility:

1. For BTech programmes, candidates must have received 60% (or 55% for SC/ST candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their intermediate (10+2) examinations from the UP Board, CBSE, or any other recognised board.

2. For MCA Programs: BCA/BSc (Computer Science)/B.Sc. (IT) with a minimum of 55 percent (50 percent for SC/ST) in aggregate.

3. For BPharm Programs: Candidates must have obtained 60 percent (55 percent for SC/ST candidates) marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology/Bio-Technology/Computer Science in the intermediate (10+2) examination from the U.P. Board, C.B.S.E., or any other recognised board.

4. For BTech (Lateral Entry) Programmes: Candidate must have obtained 60% (or 50% for SC/ST candidates) in diploma in Engineering Examination from UP Board of Technical Education or any other recognised board.

5. The candidate must have passed any entrance examination (such as JEE 2021/UPCET-2021 or another) administered by a recognised institution or body.
