The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education today issued an official notice of enrollment for Class XI in 2021. The release of the Class XI Admission in West Bengal in 2021 occurs immediately following the announcement of the WB Madhyamik 2021 results earlier in the week. The notification has been sent or addressed to all heads of higher education institutions that are members of the WB Council of Higher Education. Along with detailing the admission procedure, it also instructs stakeholders to ensure that strict COVID-19 protocols are followed during the 11th WB admission process.

As part of the official notification of admission to the 11th grade WB in 2021, the WBCHSE also notified all important events and their respective dates that are part of the process. The timetable published by the council states that the admission of students to the institute will be carried out from 2 to 14 August 2021, and the admission of students from other institutes from 16 to 31 August 2021.
Selection criteria for choosing a subject of choice
With the admission process slated to begin shortly, the WBCHSE has also advised on the main selection criteria that institutions must follow in order to provide electives to students during the Class XI admission process. Students who wish to select a specific subject as an elective must meet the selection criteria in their qualifications, that is, the Madhyamik exam that will be taken during the admission process.
