Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship NSRCEL and the Buddha Fellowship Program (BFP) have teamed up to offer a rural entrepreneurship incubation program. Referring to the goals and objectives behind the launch of this rural entrepreneurship incubation program, the institute said it aims to transform the development sector" in scale, quality and impact by attracting the best and brightest talent in India."

The step towards launching this program aims to create an ecosystem to develop, support and empower these professionals and help them realize their aspirations to become development entrepreneurs and, in turn, build a modern and inclusive India's future its less privileged and marginalized community. Interested candidates can complete and submit their applications at official website. Venkatesh Panchapagesan, Chairman of NSRCEL at IIM Bangalore, said: “Rural entrepreneurship, which is in its infancy, has tremendous potential in our quest to build lives and livelihoods for a more self-reliant nation. Our goal will be to support entrepreneurs who are already working in rural areas, as well as provide opportunities for those who want to return to their roots to make an impact. "

Panchapagesan further spoke about the difficulties faced by the ecosystem of rural entrepreneurship and domestic entrepreneurs. He said that they were overlooked and that they faced many scalability issues due to lack of knowledge and awareness about marketing, branding, quality standards, value chain creation, product innovation.

Ved Arya, Founder and Director of the Buddha Fellowship Program (BFP), said: “We are committed to developing the entrepreneurial dreams of young Indians to address rural poverty and make our country self-reliant. BFP's mission is to train 1000 Buddha fellows and make an impact. the lives of five million people over the next ten years. "
