The West Bengal Department of Secondary Education has announced the date for WB Class X results for 2021. The result of the WBBSE Madhyamik will be announced by the state council on July 20, 2021. Results link for candidates to validate Class X results will be available at 10:00. Students can check the result on the official website.

According to the notice issued by the Board, the Madhyamik results for both routine and external will be announced on July 20 at 9:00 am at a press conference held by the Board in the Boardroom, Derozio Bhavan, 1st Floor, DJ. -8, Sector-II, Kolkata-700091. The link to the result will be active for candidates from 10:00 AM.

This year, about 12,000 candidates were scheduled to appear for the 10th grade Madhyamika exams, which have been canceled by the state government due to the rise in COVID19 cases across the country. In announcing the cancellation of exams, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that an expert committee previously formed to recommend the cancellation or postponement of exams would best choose an alternative assessment method based on the interests of students.

Based on the evaluation criteria, Class X results will be based on a 50:50 formula. According to the formula, candidates give grades in the annual class IX exam and an internal Class X marks in each subject.
