According to media reports, the reports presented by the two expert committees in some sense recommend the adoption of similar evaluation criteria announced by the CBSE Board for the class X & XII results of 2021. In the case of an AHSEC HS 2021 score for class XII students, the preliminary Criterion is based on the student's grades on internal exams in class X, XI & XII. For the SEBA HSLC 2021 result, the assessment criteria will take into account the grades obtained in the internal class IX & X board exams.
In addition to defining the assessment criteria, the expert commissions also recommended the conduct of special exams for students in class X & XII in case someone is not satisfied with the result announced for them based on the assessment criteria. These special examinations will be conducted by the board in an autonomous written format and will be organized as soon as the pandemic situation returns to normal.
Results will be announced by July 31st.
SEBA and AHSEC have accelerated the process of compiling Assam's 10th and 12th results for 2021 after the Supreme Court set a July 31, 2021 deadline as the deadline for announcing the results of the 2021 board examinations. In line with this, the Assam Secondary Education Council (SEBA) and the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) have also approached their respective affiliated schools to begin preliminary preparations for the stocktaking process.
Once the assessment criteria are formally announced by the board, the schools will start processing the results and submit them to the board for the preparation of the final class X & XII results of Assam 2021.
